Step
into Sport
Together with
Windsor High School (Specialist Sports College) First4Football
have helped 5
students from the school achieve over 500 hours of coaching within the local
community.
The students
have worked on a purely voluntary basis under the guidance of senior coaches
at First4Football. The students have assisted in the delivery of
coaching sessions at Primary Schools (out of hours clubs), Mini Soccer
Schools, and Holiday Schemes.
The Step into
Sport programme is a nation wide initiative where students can work towards
a bronze, silver or gold award based on how many hours they have accumulated
in the twelve month period from April 2004 to March 2005.

Two of the
students have since gone on to gain their level one certificate in coaching
football, whilst two others will be attending the next level one course to
be held locally in the next couple of months.
On achieving the
level one certificate the students will able to work for First4Football on a
part time basis whilst continuing their college studies.
This is the
first opportunity First4Football has had to help young people in the
community access a coaching environment, which will enable them to earn a
part time income and take their first step towards independence.
Simon Perruzza
said 'It is our intention to continue with this work where possible, to
assist any youngsters who have the desire, willingness and possess the right
attributes to take on a future coaching role.
The FA Cup comes
to town
One of our After
School Clubs, Gig Mill Primary School received an early Christmas present,
the school was graced with the presence of one of the most prestigious
trophies in the world, the FA Cup. Below
is a picture of some of the children from the after school club with the
trophy, yes and Simon had to get in there as well !! Matthew

First4Football have taken over the reins at Halesowen
College!
First4Football have won a proposal to coach and manage two
Halesowen College Academy football teams. The two teams will provide an
opportunity for 1st and 2nd year students to represent the college and play competitive football in the well
recognised college youth league.
Simon Perruzza said
"This is fantastic news for all at
First4Football. We know that college football is an important element within
the sports studies programme and to be involved is a huge honour.
This also shows how far we have come in such a short space of time in terms
of being able to offer a complete range of coaching services".
First4Football now provide coaching from the age ranges 5 - 18 years.

First4Football
will now be offering various football coaching initiatives in conjunction with
Leasowes Leisure Centre. The initiatives include Holiday Fun
Schemes, a Monday night Development
Centre, Friday night
Mini Soccer
School, birthday parties, and soon to come, football coaching and activities for teenagers.
First4Football secure sponsorship deal! First4Football
have secured a sponsorship deal with AIM Strategic Management.
 Business
owner Simon Perruzza said "This is a
great opportunity for everyone at First4Football. The sponsorship deal now enables
First4Football to expand it's current operation and develop new initiatives
within the local football community".
