First4Football working with Halesowen College Football Academy.  Simon was contacted by the college to coach and manage two college teams for the season 2004/05.  

The story begins with an initial trial which took place in September 2004.  The response was nothing short of magnificent, over 80 players who are registered on various courses at the college tried out, the standard was very impressive. Finally after three trials two squads of 15 players per squad were selected to proudly represent the college in the West Midlands Colleges Regional Football League.
